On July 6, 2020 commencement for international students of Jilin university(JLU) was held at lecture hall of central campus. 69 international students took part in the commencement.Prof.Zhang Xi, President of JLU, Prof. Zhao Hongwei, Vice President of JLU, Prof.Sun Junqi,Dean of Graduate School, Prof. Wang Guoqiang, Director of Office of Undergraduate Education, Prof. Chen Xia, Deputy Director of Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Yuehui, Dean of School of International Chinese Language Education, Prof. Qu Yuanli, Secretary of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Prof.Xiao Xi, Dean of School of International and Public Affairs attended the ceremony.
Dr.Zhang Qiang, from the Department of Thyroid Surgery, First Hospital of Jilin University delivered a commencement address as representative of faculties.NWANKWO HAPPINESS IJEOMA, from Nigeria,an undergraduate of Class 2016, majoring in Chinese language education, School of International Chinese Language Education, and BASSEM KHALED ABDELSALAM ELMAGHRABY, from Egypt, a PhD student of Class 2017, majoring in International Relations, School of International and Public Affairs made valedictory address respectively, as representatives of graduates. President Zhang Xi turned the tassel for the graduates, and Vice President Zhao Hongwei conferred the degree certificates.
KOLOTOVA ANNA and other 20 international students were awarded Student of Excellence of JLU. President Zhang Xi conferred the award certificates to 14 of them, who were present at the commencement.
